 Throughout its existence Cacti has been geared towards
providing comfort and care for the seriously and/or terminally
ill.
We have purchased special pressure relieving mattresses,
hoists, wheelchairs, pressure relieving cushions, electric
reclining chairs, oscillating fans, pillow elevators, mobicare
bed covers and one-way glide anti-slip sheets.

and patients have greatly benefited from the gifts that have
been supplied by the group and has made life more comfortable."
"This charity has made it possible for the community
district nurses to provide terminally ill patients with
specialised equipment which is not available through normal
channels. By so doing we are now able to optimise the quality
of life for these people."
A gentleman who is using a recliner chair at present from
CACTI stated: "This has made a tremendous difference to my
quality of life. If I hadn't the use of the recliner chair I
would have been in bed for the past three months."
Conclusion:

of sources, whether corporate or personal. Our office bearers

organisation is engaged in across the province and the
religious, social and cultural divides.
